I gave people a 15 minute grace period then id call them to reschedule. At first i was pretty flexible but then they started taking advantage so 15-30mins required a reschedule
My school was 420 hours. I went 4 days a week and finished in 3 months... first day was engraving our initials into the tools and right after that we jumped right in and learned the basics (ears, nails, sanitary, bath, pawpads)... only about 5 to a class...
I use them for really bad biters. If they continue to freak out, get worse, or keep ripping the muzzle off, thats when i call the owners to pick up the dog. If used correctly, muzzles are really helpful
