Depends the direction and severity of the curve. My scoliosis is a C curve between my shoulder blades. I groomed full time for 25 years, and it was not an issue for the first 20 or so. Then I wore a lifting belt for back support. Keeping back muscles...

How wonderful that you have finally moved onward and upward! Congratulations on you finally cutting ties at the vet. I’m sure you stayed much longer than you should’ve because of the fur clients you have cared for there. Your ducks will be lining...

I travel light too. I like to use one of those giant plastic tablecloths from the big box store with felt backing (so I don’t scratch any wood floors), hang a trash bag off my grooming arm, and have a small dustpan with brush set....

Have a wonderful new family adventure in Colorado! I too have mostly retired, and am working as an archery coach now. Much easier on the back. Lol. Maybe you will transition into a violin teacher. Whatever you do, I hope it’s something you enjoy.

I’ve ordered shears from Freebird that took quite a while to arrive while Maurice made them, but I’m not familiar with Firebird shears.
