I did, I saw the video's I am very interested in trying the we shave. Didn't see the blade care. I am sure it is there and that I have over looked it. Ugh.

Great article, I am rural and get lots of dirty dogs. All dogs go into the tub first. But I will now wet clip more and not only the matted dogs. Thank you for writing a informative article, I am always reading and looking for new ways to improve and shorten the grooming process. Especially for senior dogs who deserve the safest and quickest groom.

Although I do wet shave, I never thought to try it on anything other than a matted dog until I read this thread this morning and wanted to try it today. I had an Aussiedoodle this am with a heavy undercoat. It maybe had 1 1/2 inches of coat, if that. I could not get a 4 through it and I did not want to go any shorter. I didn’t want to waste a lot of time on this dog so I raked the coat wet and then used the 4 and it worked very well. I don’t know what I could have done that would have made it easier but if there is something easier I need to know. Parti and/or Kat05, do you have any tips on what you would have done instead for optimum speed and finish on wetshaving a doodle with a heavy undercoat. Thank you.
