He looks great! And has the perfect coat for practicing scissor skills plus other fun stuff like setting in waist or angulation ( I'm not saying you didn't do good job on pic, it's just example).
Personally I would love to see this pups cute factor emphasized with a bit of Asian but not clipping body right off, but at least a #2(3/8" ) comb with flared legs etc.

I need to build a relationship with the client first before suggesting anything as I haven't even met the owner , I just spoke briefly on the phone with her
