anyone willing to teach?

wondering if anyone near me would be willing to give a few lessons on hand stripping? I am "thinking" about doing some competition and have notice that most if not all the terriers in the ring are hand stripped. I dont do any (hand strip) at my shop, and really have little interest in offering it. I would have to borrow a dog to compete with so it may not happen, but I think I'd like to learn all the same. we did do some hand stripping in school but that was a long time ago, and I have some questions. I dont want to just check out books or videos, I want some hands on with someone who knows what there doing. I really cant afford to pay anyone, but if we can work out a day and time I would be more than willing to lend a hand bathing, or prepping a few dogs in exchange for the lesson(s). thank in advance. by the way Im in Racine.

I could get together with you, but we also have a WAPPS member in Kenosha that might be able to set a class with you. I can't speak for her or say that's she'd be available for sure, but she is a great stylist and has competed, familiar with stripping, etc. Her salon is booming and she is pretty busy keeping up, but she is on here as Darbygoo. I am not speaking for her, but I know she is out there by you in Kenosha. If not, this is surely a great place to come to network and find someone!

i'll be in atlanta. are the meetings generally the same day and time? ie; last sunday every other month. I'm gonna get to one this year if I have to hurt someone.....
