    cute!

Very nice. I love the moustach.(sp?) I think I would have done the band a little wider. It is supposed to be right behind the last rib. It makes the dog look like it has a longer torso. But thats just me. Good job tho.

Yes the band is behind the last rib. Your rosettes are to big on the hips. Otherwise it looks like you have it. Do a search for the size poodle you have. Each dog will look differnet to a degree. I wish I keep the pic of my moms toy. She looked great..

That's my thoughts too, plus I think the jacket needs a little more scissoring, to make it looked curved more back by the band, makes her looked unfinished. I'm not expert by any means but that's JMO. It looks like you have the pattern down, now it is just to put the finishing touches on it.

          Nice first try.

Nice first try. Bring the rough up to the elbow to give the dog more "leg" Adjust both the "band" (it should be abut 1/4 to 1/2 inch wide) and the rosettes. You want to give the impression of an up on leg dog with a short to square profile. When doing the rough try to invision a tear drop.

            Forgot

Move the rosettes more up onto the back and scissor/clip so that the tail set and pelvic shelf can be seen. This will also help to "shorten up" the profile on the dog -- unless the tail set is really bad then the rosettes can help hide the tail set.

Yep, the jacket is too far back and the rosettes are too far back. They appear to be falling of the dog's butt. They are a bit too big also. Move them forward a good inch at least and move that jacket up as well. Take a couple of more pictures if you can from the side so we can see a good side view. Have fun! You are a brave soul!

                Good try

The jacket and rosettes are a little too far back, also try leaving pom poms on legs fuller. Love the mustache, very cute. Umm...try to scissor more on the head and ears. otherwise good try!
