Some wonderful developments in our annual WAPPS Pet Stylists Invitational this year!
Those interested in NDGAA and PCGAA certification:
NDGAA is now looking at having their mini workshop and certification testing site with us, the Wisconsin Association of Professional Pet Stylists, on Oct. 19th & 20th at the Olympia Conference Center and Hotel, in Oconomowoc,WI!!!
Our Pet Stylists Invitational, to be held on Oct. 20th, from 9am to 9pm, is our grooming association's annual event. this year we are working extra hard in order to be hosting both the NDGAA, as well as the PCGAA for feline on site training and certification!
Our annual Invitational ushers in Autumn for us every year with a full day of classes on grooming topics, a 2 tiered purebred grooming competition, prize raffles, a tool and equipment swap and sale, on site sharpening & SHOPPING.
Best of all, this event is FREE to all current WAPPS members! In order to attend you must be a member, and on site sign up at the annual WAPPS membership rate of $40 will be available.
On site overnight accommodations will be available at a reduced rate for workshop and Invitational event guests.
This is a *beautiful* dog show venue, and a wonderful opportunity to attend a full day of classes, to compete at a smaller show in a grooming competition, to become PCGAA certified for felines, to get NDGAA certified, and of course to shop and relax!
The NDGAA certification registration deadline will be Oct. 4th, and the PCGAA certification deadline is Aug. 31st.
Specific testing questions should be referred to your certifying organization.
Please message me directly with any trade show or WAPPS questions.
