Needed traveling supplier for groomers

I'm looking for a supplier that visits grooming shop that sells supplies shampoos, clippers, scissors etc...I'm in Madison County

I have never heard of any. Is there a reason you cant just order stuff? I guess I dont get why you need a traveling person. Not even sure where Madison county is. I will have to look that up LOL

I think the net killed the traveling supplier, hav'nt seen one inyears.

We buy our shampoos from one and he also has a selection of blades and cheap shears.

There is a grooming supply business in Central FL who does local deliveries, and they're wonderful. Supportive, knowledgeable, and just plain nice people - so the 'net hasn't managed to do away with them entirely. While I love being able to run out there and grab a small item, there's no particular 'need' to have them do in-person delivery.
Maybe if you could tell us what services you're looking for that drive you to want a 'traveling' supplier, we could direct you someone who could meet your needs? If you want to be able to handle tools and shears before buying, check out the dog show vendors. For just about anything else, you're probably going to get the best prices online.

I was in Missouri awhile back and I had a shop. Pet city was a traveling supplier I loved him coming to my shop
He always had the new thing out shampoos shears blades what ever you wanted he had.
i guess I'll get a hold of him and ask if he knows of anyone.
I use to get to shows when I was in Ca. but its been years.

Im not sure where you are but I know there are many out there... we have 2 in our area, one carries mostly Laube & kelco products the other carries PPP & Kenchi shears...

as to the internet ruining this kind of service... I can only hope that the big supply chains keep doing what they do. We used to order from them, half the time only half showed up.. we were never called about backordered or out of stock, AND we would have to re-order because they didnt keep it on records that they didnt send it... sheesh

It is like the good old days.. some of you may recall... days when customer service really mattered.. Now all most people are so numb to press this and press that you may... just may get a hold of someone who is willing to find things out for you but mostly, sadly, we are all numbers and that is all.
The best slogan I ever heard... Think globally but act locally... good old fashioned service where they know YOU, what you like & dont like, I miss those days I hope they come back.

I don't know of any but if you are looking for a specific company I am sure you can call and they can send a representative out to you. And the interenet you can purchase and I am sure look for a traveling sales person.
