we sell Amelia dog treats, they are completely organic and they come in wheat free to. Her company is out of Ontario Canada. They come in all kinds of cute shapes like ice cream cones, butterflies, and bones of course! she does seasonal ones as well. all the dogs that come in love them and they re cheap to buy so we sell a ton.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Pure Vita. Orijen, B.G. (Before Grain) and Wellness Super 5 are extremely popular too. We used to do well with Natura products (California Natural, Innova, Evo) but Proctor and Gamble just bought them out so we are veeeeeery cautious now and most likely won't continue to carry the brand. There is a certified organic food we sell too, can't remember the name offhand, but it's very popular.

Treats...Pure Bites (strictly dehydrated chicken, liver, cheese, beef) and Zukes Z-Filets are the most popular and well liked. We have many taste testers, lol.

Serious question. Does anyone actually believe there's a place left in the U.S. where you can grow anything truely organic? I don't. I'm not even sure there's a place left on the entire planet where that would be possible.

Interesting question....another serious question: what's the def of truely organic?

It seems to be defined differently depending on who you talk to so that's why I ask. Some are stricter than others.

I sell Tiburon Treats at my shop. They are local to my store, and she now sells them canada wide. They are wheat free/gluten free cookies. My clients seem to prefer the cheese ones.

It actually isn't totaly possible, the soil is tested parts per million and has to lay fallow for a set lenght of time to be certified, and then some yahoo down the road sprays on a windy day and poof!So no, but it is posssible to get very close.

Well, after awhile it's going to be very hard for any small company to not be bought out. Don't just immediately dump on P&G YET! Yes, they destroyed Iams and Eukabuba, but-according to head honchos-they are trying to make up for past mistakes and not fix what aint broken. They are TRYING to be respected in the pet food industry and the owner of Natura is very sick, so the timing was right. My shop is waiting and watching. The second they change formulas they will be gone. But SO FAR they are trying. I hope they learned something from their handling of Iams and will continue to keep up the quality, but at the moment, they are doing just fine.

                        Food and Treats

Well food wise we sell Holistic Select, From Gold, Evanger's, Solid Gold, Natural Balance, Canidae, Premium Edge, Chicken Soup for the soul, and Diamond Naturals. I know...its diamond but where we are its hard to get some people to switch to a better diet unless the price is about the same as what they are feeding now. Plus everyone that has switched to it have great results and from there its easier to get them to trust us to try a more expesive food.

Treats we have mostly Dogswell which its just chicken, duck, or lamb dried up like jerky with a few vitamins and herbs added. We also have Natural Balance, Zukes, Old Mother Hubbard, and Buddy Biscuits.

Our biggest thing is that we have our sample rack that is full of free samples so people don't feel like they have to purchase a whole bag to get thier dog to try it.
