  • Deacon the Golden/Poodle Mix

I have been grooming Deacon since he was a pup. He's ruffly a year and a half now. The owners always liked the long flowy look. As he got older though and started to come in matted more and more often they started bringing him in every 3 weeks for brush outs. When he was still coming in matted I recommended more often. Finally the other day Mom FINALLY decided she wanted to take him down. YEAH!!!!!

I would have taken him down further.........1/2" body, legs and head with the Clipper Vac. Most of my doodles are on a 6-8 week schedule and I have one that is 3/8" every 3 weeks.

What an improvement on your before/after pictures....bet the owner was very pleased !!

      Happy doing a great job

            Nice groom!
I used to groom one, we started at E comb and he was always brushed out, but after a while they would ask for shorter and shorter and eventually settled on 5F.

Thanks Dolly! That means a lot to me coming from a seasoned groomer such as yourself!
