As far as toys, about the only thing our labX's can have is the "aggressive chewer" nylabones. They chew to eat, so anything less is destroyed and swallowed. They usually take apart squeaky toys and eat them, but for some reason, they've not killed the round fleecy squeakies. They must like the softness. Who knows. They also like cardboard from the paper recycling bin...apparently makes a better "Welcome home" present than any of their toys.
As far as treats? They'll drool for almost anything.

My poodles chew up almost all of the toys I buy them. However, the puppy plays relentlessly with a green cone (that she has chewed off the top two tiers of). Loves to put it under furniture (and my bed) and retrieve it. I bought two new cones (they are similar to the red Kong), but she only wants to play with the chewed up one.
They both love to retrieve frisbees.

The golden, Ty, loves her holee-moley the best of any toy she ever had. I kick it for her and she'll chase it til she drops! She also loves fleece toys. Riley the cockapoo (my avatar) loves to play with anything. He especially likes to play with anything Ty likes!!Reba is getting kind of old and doesn't play much but she does like to chew Nylabones once and a while.
I get them Mother Nature treats and also give them home-made dog treats.

Libby my Catahoula spends hours each day working on her Souper size nylabone. It's very economical, takes forever for her to work it down. She also has this fuzzy pink heart that says "I love you " when you squeeze it. She's had it for 1 yr. an follows us around squeezing it when she wants attention.

Cressite 2.5" floater balls on a rope. (they like to chew off the rope and then play with the balls for hours). I have 3 power chewers and these (and those black kongs) are the only things that last more than 15 mins.
I have another dog who is not a power chewer and he likes any stuffed doll and blankets. He adores them, then chews them and unstuffs them, and then loves them again.

Lets see "Peanut" LOVES his Flippy Flop (soft Frisbee), did I mention he LOVES it lol. "Lucky" likes the Flippy flop too, but he really prefers a tennis ball. He also has "his baby" it is a stuffed bunny, when we adopted him last year he came with it. He sleeps with it at night. And will go get it when you ask him to go get "his baby". Okay now there is "Scoop", you would think he was a Golden they way he ALWAYS has something in his mouth. He loves all stuffed toys. But he will grab anything handy, a sock, a towel, he will even steal the kitchen towel off the oven door if it is what he sees first. He is a hoot. He isn't much for playing fetch outside, but throw the ball inside and he will chase it. You see he is... shall we say LAZY!!! He knows if you throw the ball outside he has to run WAAAYYY to far to get it. In the house it is only a little run. LOL!! Maybe he isn't lazy but smart. None of them chew anything up. As far as treats, they all really like apples, and carrots. They also get one greenie a day!

My Am. Staff would not lower herself to play with toys. That is for dogs and babys according to her. My lab on the other hand loves her bumpers to carry around and she has a stuffed duck with a squeeky in it. She will grab whatever is closest to her just to have something in her mouth shoes, kids toys, slippers. The only thing my dogs chew are raw marrow bones. If your dog is fat, you are not getting enough exercise!

My Standard will play with anything as long as I call it a Squishy. I tell him to get his squishy, and he will find whatever toy is closest. He also will kill the squeak, and tennis balls dont have a chance.
My Dachshund loves the big rubber bouncy balls...the ones out of the gum ball machines. She really doesn't play fetch with me, and if I throw a toy and tell her to get it she looks at me like...Why dont you? But she will play with herself for hours with one of those bouncy balls...she tosses it up, then chases it... She also has a squeaky rabbit that she doens't play with, but she has to sleep with it.
My Rott x...well, shes 17 so she doesnt do much of anything. Soft lamb ears for her.
Treats/bones...anything will do for them. But the Doxie will run around and steal everyone elses bones and hoard them....usually under the blanket on my chair. And if one of the other dogs come anywhere near her collection, she will chase them off. I tell ya, for being the smallest dog in the house, she sure does have some guts..she's bad!
