I was watching an episode that aired I think on the 5th of this month last night. The last dog to get done was a yellow lab that was killing chickens. Ceasar brought in a "hunting" trainer to teach the dog how to use it's skills rather than kill. OMG. The trainer was Missy Lemoy. I trained for hunting and field trials with her and Hawkeye for years. So cool to see someone I know on national television.

What A Trip!

That is so neat! It's so strange to see someone that you know or have met on a tv show. BTW I love that show. Some of the people who's dogs are featured on that show are a trip!

That is very cool, I was in california for XMAS and we turned on the high school football game and low and behold there was my little brother. He was one of the commentators for comcast sports night. I was stunned. He has a business called NORCAL, the filmall the high school games for the colleges. I was just so surprised. My mom was laughing so hard at my reaction

that trainer was awesome! her yellow lab was such a cutie when he did a blind retrieve & finish for that little girl! the lab (chicken obsessed one) belongs to the author of marley & me - the book about the crazy lab - this is their second lab (after marley passed away). GREAT book! sososo funny & heartwarming.

Have ya'll ever seen the one where he gets an aggressive Maltese poodle mix that hates grooming. That is a little hard to believe that he gets that dog to accept being brushed by just telling him SHHH every time he shows his teeth. I dunno. I wish he would show more bad grooming dogs though lol.

Holy Cow! That "Show Dog Moms And Dads" was soooo funny! I wish that they would show reruns again! Tee Hee!

If you think that trainer was awesome, you should see the guy that trained her. He is AWESOME!!!!! They run field trials and one of their bitches was the youngest national finalist.

I have never seen it either!! I always miss when it comes on. I have heard him on talk radio once, and I have read articles about him. Of course I also hear great things about him on this board. I really need to make a point to remember to watch!

I have never heard of this show either. I hope that someone will post when it airs. Oh, ooops, I misread a post above and thought that it was about a different show. I have seen it. Sorry.

I've heard of his show but I have never seen it either. I saw him on the "View" once. He was working with someones Yorkies, I think. I can't remember more about it, I guess it didn't impress me much

I found it amusing the the authors of Marley and Me had so much trouble with their first dog (Marley) , all his antics and out-of-control misbehavings. So what do they do but turn around and get another dog the same breed! Lucky for them someone stepped in and gave them some help --they should have gotten a shihtzu!

I wish Ceasar would come to one of the show that we all go to like groom expo or one of the others I know I would sure be there to see him he use to be a dog groomer he said that when he was trying to groom that poodle mix and I know he could show us a bunch of ways to handle dogs that are not carzy about being groomed anyway I just think it would be cool!
