Leaving Sat morning fer a whole weeks holiday on the west coast of Scotland, just me and Hubby and the dogs.
No worrys, No work, No Bleeping Phone ringing off the hook......
We have a peacefull lil cottage on the Ardnamurchan peninsula (farthest west point on the UK coast) we will be staying at.
Lotsa sandy beaches & wildlife (maybe even whales & otters) and a 45 min ferry ride to the isle of Mull
Catch up with yah all when I get back

I am sooo disappointed (j/k), I thought for sure when I saw you were back that you would already have picts to post.... I am dying to see your vacation spot, it sounds lovely. Glad you had a great time. Don't you hate how it seems to take froever for your vacation to get here, and then in a blink of an eye it is over and done!!!!

Wow!!! Thanks for sharing those, if you have any more I would love to see them!! In the good ole US the oldest bldg's in my area are dated from the late 1700's and that seems sooooo old to me. That castle must be dated a heck of a lot older than that. I heard a saying once, 100 miles to a European is a long way, 100 years to an American is a long time. It's very true.

Is that Tam that you are using as a pack-mule?? What is he carrying?

LOL, I got a dig camera with a big memory card and DH's laptop to download to when it got full.. I got LOOOOTS of pix!
My cottage (my home, not the place we stayed) is about 300 years old *G*
Yup, thats Tam with his backpack.. Its funny as heck , he get so serios and "look at me, Ive got a BaCkPaCk! ish" when we put it on him.. strutting around like hes the Stuff! usally he just carrys his stuff, water, ball/ poop bags.......
