do you ever wonder what your pets do when you are gone

well i found out what mine do, the other day i went to my neighbors house to take her some bread i had bought for her i stayed for a good hour or so and when i came back i came in through the back door , i have french doors between my sun room and our kitchen/dining area wich is next to our family room you can see right into the family room when you step in anyways i had left the t.v on so when i walk in they did not hear me,i stood there for a moment and could not believe what i saw all three just sat there watching tv and paying attention because they did not here me walk in i thought it was so cute and guess what was on tv the news!

Guess I won't make fun of my hubby anymore when he goes back inside to make sure the tv is on for the critters whenever we go anywhere!

Cute! They must've been watching for news of the pet food recall! When ever I sneak in on my crew, I will catch them napping. They get such a surprised look that I came back so soon.

I worry what my dogs are doing, especially when I come home and there is a local number on my caller ID that I do not know, and I don't know all my neighbors yet. I tried to find person and number, and I guess it must a new as I can not get an address. I sure hope my dogs are not barking a lot while we are not here.

Mine sleep or cruise around looking for snacks that the kids may have dropped or left on the table. Now my Amazon likes to whoop it up when we are gone. He hollers and whistles and sings till I walk in the door....lol....maybe he is just signaling to the dogs that someone is coming so they need to get rid of the booze and cheap women....hehe

I know what Halle was doing.....

Yeswterday i let Halle stay in the kitchen with the dog door closed, or she barks at birds or anything. She knows how to unzip things. I saw foam all over the floor. Her dog bed (shared bed) was where she unzipped the zipper and took big bites out of her new, pretty bed. From now on, I will have to crate her ot put up anything she can get. She has lots of toys, but prefers to get into mischief.BTW the chat room has barking dog icon, she thinks it's real......

We usually leave the TV on for the dogs when we go somewhere. I always thought it made them feel more comfortable with the noise and all.

I think I know what mine do...sleep. They are always in the exact same postition...on the couch. Ahh, to have a dog's life, lol.

I walked in one time and saw my Foxhound in my bed, rolling around and making the weridest noises. When he realized I was standing there, his eyes got real big. And you know he was saying it wasn't me.
