Does anyone remember a year or so ago, a stupid tv show where two people get hired for the day and TRY to get fired, not too early, but close to 3PM or closing time? Two very funny. One a girl in a grooming shop. I only caught the end of hers. The funny one was a girl in post shop, like a UPS store. Very slow. As she did some repetitive thing she sang sing-songy : "Boring, boring, this job is borrrring.....It cracked me up. Then she layed on th.e floor and did snow angels on the carpet. She did everything to get fired. The boss was remarkable polite and patient, and co-workers were shocked. I guess they were not in the same grooming shops where you normal hard-working groomers work and have a difficult boss. Imagine that girl in some of your bosses' shops. OUT! I can hear them screaming! After.r... first 10 minutes.I think the girl who groomed sitting on the floor is hysterical. I can see brushing out, I"ve done that at home to mine , but a shop?LOL hahaha.

I think I do remember this. There were maybe 4 episodes of it and I think they had to try to get fired as close to the end of the day as possible. The closer to the end of the day it was, the more money they got, or something like that.
I do remember it being humorous but don't remember the particulars. Hell, I don't remember what I had for lunch today...did I have lunch?????

Wisconsin
I realize Wisconsin is not a tiny state but, I am lookingb for a mobile groomer for my Bichon (2 good boys) client who has to go off in RV to daughter having surgery. Hazelhurst, Wi. I groomed the boys todasy and they will need grooming in about 5 weeks. Do you go there or know someone gentle who does? PJ is older and delicate. I have known them 3-4 years, the skipped a year. They are from Canada. VERY nice people. Ron and Chris Boyce. Prince and PJ.They will be leaving perhaps tomorrow so I want to call her asap.

I saw that show...
I remember thinking (as I often do when seeing a "reality" show), that the entire thing was planned and scripted. Let's face it! There were cameras everywhere...!
Still, why can't there be a reality show about working in a grooming salon?
Just footage of owners picking up their dogs with all the "awwsy issums Momma's baby all cleansy? yessums Momma loves baby kissy kissy!" would be a riot!

Very clever dog running back and forth. heads popping out of dog house. Many site topics including a pet memorial with music and photos etc. Dog related headings etc. very impressive ad.why choose them...helpful hints...everything you could ask for. How do they do that/ Some web maker...must be expensive. Next year little or no phone book ads that don't pay. What is 2050?

Avatars and animations
Thanks for asking! I found the space doggie and took it into Adobe Image Ready 7.0 and added the stars and "K9" on a new layer.
The 2050 is the year that I hope to see before crossing the Rainbow Bridge (good to have goals sort of thing).
I got tired of having to change the copyright dates on all my websites every year, so I just started putting COPYRIGHT 2000-2050 on stuff. Not that anyone is ripping off my work...
Just put "dog animation" into your search engine and I am sure you will find something good. Then you just have to make sure it is the right size for this message board (90x90 pixels) and the right file size. I would be happy to help anyone who needs it and love working on the web. (No charge, of course for message board avatars!)
There are a ton of web sites with animations. I just alter them to my liking - change the timing, add backgrounds, add other art elements. Generally speaking, you can use them since this is a not for profit website (at least not for the users). There is plenty of art and photography to use for free when you are not trying to make a profit or using it to sell to someone else.
