Tuesday afternoon, I come home from work and my cat Oscar is limping. Hes not using his back left foot at all. He is also not good at using one back leg, so hes falling all over the place. I dont have a car so I have to wait until my partner comes home from work. At 12:00 we decide he needs to be taken to the emergency clinic. At 3:10 we are driving home. At 3:30, I am in my bed ready to sleep. At 6:00 I wake up to get ready for work. This cat is going to be the end of me. I have four cats and Oscar is the only one that is ALWAYS hurting himself. Hes the toughest and most aggressive. None of my cats are allowed outside, but he still manages to hurt himself. What the heck? My partner is bonded terribly to Oscar, so Oscar gets rushed to the vet for everything. Oscar looked sad? Take him to the vet. Oscar goes to the vet so often, im surprised they havent called Cat Protective Services on us. I thought cats were supposed to be graceful. And to top it off, the vet has the nerve to tell me that Oscars foot did not need emergency care and that he could have waited for the normal vet. This is NOT something you should tell someone at 3 in the morning after waiting several hours. Just had to let this out. My family doesnt understand. Hes just a cat.
