  • Kindness in NYC. Subwaying while Asian.

You all may have heard about the violent attacks on East Asians, particularly older East Asians. I was reminded that those attackers are totally the exception. On the subway, a non-Asian man made a point of greeting me in Chinese. Even though I am of mixed Japanese heritage, not Chinese, it was still heart-warming. I knew he was trying to make me feel safe. Isn't that sweet?

Nice gesture but only if the Mayor would do his job and make it safe! I know people who fly into Islip and then take the LIRR into the middle area of Long Island because they’re too worried of traveling even from JFK and Laguardia and doing the transfers etc to head east onto the island. Shameful what has happened! Beyond shameful.

Yes, Emma, kindness does exist. Unfortunately, all we hear about is the brutality in this world. The good never seems to make headlines.
Old groomers never die, they just go at a slower clip.

          Groom on!!!
