As you know I am opening my own shop. Well I ordered my tub and table last week and already things are messed up. First they said I will have the table in 4 weeks, fine no biggie that will be Feb. 5th well I get the invoice today and the ship date is the 21st of Feb!! How am I going to open the second week if I don't have my table until the last week! Now the tub issue. It was suppossed to be shipped today so I would get it on Monday which was the plan. Well I get home to a message on my voicemail that says they couldn't ship it today because they tried to charge my card and it was declined!!! I have more than enough to cover the tub so they say well sometimes it doesnt let us bill that much at once. So I said well then split it up so they took out half and then will have to do the other half tomorrow. And now my tub won't be getting here until tues (the day I have no one to be waiting for it) and I don't know what I'm going to do. They also informed me that I don't have liftgate service or inside delivery. I could deal with the no inside thing but how in the hizeck am I going to get a 300lb tub off of a truck to the ground? I can't wait to tell my husband the good news. I'm pretty much furious about all this right now. I only have off on Mondays so I don't know what I'm going to do about being there for my tub on Tues. My grandma can wait for it but there's no way she can get it off the truck. I'm dreading trying to do it myself. aHHHHH

oh wow, bummer. Im planning on buying all my equipment at the Atlanta Pet Fair and just taking it home from there. With the help of a Uhaul truck and lots of friends!

I'm so sorry, I am so glad to have a local grooming supply where I can get anything I need. I am also grateful that my sister lives in Sparks and her business is about 2 minutes from pet edge I hope things get better. Once you are open you can breath a sigh of relief and you will probably laugh a little about it all>>>

I don''t understand about the tub. The delivery people won't take out of their vehicle and put it in the shop for you? Is there anyway you can pay for this service, or do you know some young strong guys that you could pay to unload for you? About the tables, what kind are you getting? If they aren't specialized why don't you call around to different companies to see if any of them can make a delivery earlier. If you find one call the company your are dealing w/now and cancel your order. If they give you any **** remind them they didn't follow through w/the original agreed date so you had to go elsewhere.

Good Luck to you , I know this is such a stressful time but just think by this time next year this will all be a faint memory as you are grooming away in your beautiful new shop!

they should at least unload it, and maybe if grandma bats her eyes they will take it in. Where did you order it from?

No its an extra 500 to get it off the truck and an extra 500-1000 if I want them to get it there monday. I haven't called the table place yet to complain about that. I'm just not having a good time right now lol. Oh the tub is from foreverstainless and the table is petlift. They gave me a good deal on the table so the same model at other places is more expensive.

It will all work out in the end. I remember having that problem with my tub too. I had to get my brother-in-law over here to help. I was told they wouldn't take it off the truck, but the guy did, and my brother-in-law helped. It was a big headache, but it all turned out okay. It will for you too!

What state are you in Grinch? I know you go to Hershey so I am thinking maybe you are in New Jersey or Pennsylvania. I have an old but good quality protable table with the folding legs. If you would like to borrow it, it is just sitting in the old truck taking up space. Just let me know and we can figure out how to get it to you.

Well heck, I would tell them if they can't unload it and bring it in they can keep it. For a few extra dollars get one somewhere else.

Hey Misty, thanks for the offer. I have a fold up grooming table too so I will make due with that, but it's not adjustable I want another table for drying so I might run up to cherry brook and get a cheaper hydrolic or something to get by with. I am in Pa, right near Allentown. Maybe if I bring one of my cute doggies with me and cover him in mud the truck driver might feel bad and help me get the tub out of the truck so I can give my dog a bath, lol.

500 bucks seems way too much to just bring the unit inside. doesn't sound like the greatest customer service considering how much $ you're already shelling out.
