Welcome! Don't worry about your scissor work too much right now... it will come with practice. I've been grooming about 2 years now and I'm told that I do beautiful scissor work... it's taken me at least a year to get to that point. In the beginning I used to shy away from doing dogs with a lot of scissor work, but now I love doing them.... the more bichons and poodles, the better. :-)
