Hello All,
I have been reading the forums..looking for the kinds of experiences as groomers you have had. Interesting isn't it, that although there are sometimes BAD days, most still seem to enjoy the profession. I am about to begin groom school (finally, after years working with animals in different capacities ( vet assistant, shelter employee, even rescuing some) , and leave behind my current job in sales, (whew, !!!!) to do what I most love. It started with the love of a German Shepherd, that my father was keeping for my uncle. As a toddler, looking into those soulful eyes and stroking his glossy coat..always having him as company and protector..
I knew even then, that there was something special, and understanding, a devoted friend, in animals ( well , okay experience has taught me too, that there can be some stinkers in the bunch..lol, but those that are loyal examples, really leave a paw print on your soul.)
