I have a small grooming shop in Arizona. Just me myself and I, (occasionally I drag my husband in to help hold an extra unruly one). So it will be nice to talk to other groomers.

Welcome to the board Peggy! I LOVE the pic of your pup you posted...ADORABLE! I'm guessing his name is Patch? I'm a small shop owner too, just grooming by my lonesome as well - with the occasional dragging in of the husband (or one of my kids). I enjoy coming to the board in the eve and hanging out with other groomers, it's been a mood saver for me more than once. Looking forward to seeing more of you!

Hi Az,I am from Az too. Cold...hated it..now finally warm by noon!Feb is almost here. When Academy awards are on tv it's Spring..not far away..Then we complain about the heat! Proud to be the Grand Canyon State. saw 1st time 05,June. WOW

Hi Peggy, glad you are with us! Did you know that Arizona has a very active State Groomers assn? Yep, just had a really super Bichon Hands-on workshop, next one will be on hand scissoring Drop coat breeds. (No date set yet)

Hi Peggy, welcome! I find this board is helpful for friendships and companionships- As a salon owner, I can't always talk to my employees, so this board allows me to have a sounding board.

I'm in Arizona City that's a little town just south of Casa Grande. My son lives in Gilbert, so I go there often.

Hi Where in Az are you? My Safeway is 1 mile away in Gilbert. Lots of mobiles around here 50-60. Gilbert, Mesa, Chandler, Gold Canyon...near..

I'm new to this board also and I'm outside of Maricopa, Az. by Stanfield! I started a shop at my house part time then I jumped in with both feet and quit my full time job in Phx., to start a Mobile Grooming business last summer and it is going great! Nice to meet you,
