i'm cindi and i live in santa cruz, ca. i am not a groomer yet but i'm registering for Madeline's Institute of Pet Grooming for their next session in September.

has anyone heard of this school and if so, have you heard good or bad?

I attended Madeline's in 2004 doing the part time program.
You will learn so much more than just grooming dogs. It is a wonderful program.

Hi Cindi.Is the school in Sunnyvale nearWolf rd. I think it was called.I knew of a mobile groomer in Santa Cruz years ago more than 10 ,who could not make it cuz Santa Cruz hs lots of labs and big jogger owner type people. But it may be very different now.I know a Bichon breeder shower...if she is still doing it. Yueda like you wedda the beda. Liz..I pet sat for her long time ago. She gave me one of her dogs AKC pups name Cruz..as in santa Cruz. Could not keep her.Wonder if Liz is in book..Hubby is Glen . worked for food industry for college there thru Marriott I think.She knows how to groom show Bichons.You could probably call her, she is very nice youngish woman.Maybe show you stuff...just an ideaAlso did agility in Cupertino where I pet sat for he. still have dogs photos

i now feel more confident about my decision to go to Madeline's. i have heard from a couple of people who went there and really enjoyed it and had nothing but good things to say. yes, i am very excited and anxious for september to come. the good thing is, it gives me time to save some money and figure out how we're going to survive for four months without me working

hi cindy..i'm near you..carmel. i have a good friend who went to Madeline's. she was a bather for about five years, and a good one. she now has her own business down in cambria and is doing pretty well in her first year...good luck to you!!
