new to this site. i live in philly and am looking at the best school to go to to become a groomer. any suggestions, recommendations, or avoids? thanks

thanks for replying. i'm considering either kinnder kennels in delaware, or a grooming shop outside of long beach island, nj. the school in delaware is 12 weeks long, and encompasses all aspects of grooming including being my own boss in a year or two. the school in nj is only 4 weeks long and basically just prepares a person to go to work. what do you think, as per your own experience?

Welcome! I'm not familiar with the schools on your area so I can't offer much input with regard to their quality of education and training. However, between the two programs you've mentioned, I would choose the longer 12 week program if it is a good school. I think it will give you a better foundation to build on once you start your new career. Wishing you much success!
