  • Buying a shampoo system/need input

OK folks, now that I am back to being a committed Mobile Groomer and I changed my mind about wimping out, I am going to purchase a shampoo system. I tried to find the Luxury Spa so I could read about it, who makes it please. Also I like the looks of the Hanvey system it looks good too.

Could you all give me some of your experiences. Also how do you hook these systems up. Do they need to be connected to a water source or do they just sit in the tub?.

Give me some input on which one and how much. Thank you

I have the Hanvey Bathing Beauty and LOVE it. It saves so much time with the big hairies. I use so much less shampoo with it. It is so easy, just plug it in and you're ready to go. You set it into the deeper end of the tub and you only need about 1/4" of water in tub to run it. And if you do have any problems with it, Hanvey's customer service is the BEST! In fact before I bought it, I called Curtis Hanvey and asked him a ton of questions. made me feel more comfortable about my decision to buy it. They do recommend a low-sudsing shampoo, but I have not had any shampoo that I couldn't use in it.

      shampoo system

I have a Wag'n Tails van with the super sudser and the cosmos shampoo systems.

The super sudser is just like the one that Borzoimom described in her Hanvey. The Cosmos system has 2 tanks in the back that you fill up with diluted shampoo and there are 2 sprayer nozzles in the tub that you use to spray shampoo on the dog. We had the Cosmos system at my school so I got used to it. That is probably why I favor it over the super sudser. I just feel like I am getting the dog cleaner rather than recycling the shampoo water. I think it is just a personal preference

I have recently purchased the Luxury Spa and I LOVE it . To be honest I didn't think I would like it so much and made sure to keep the box because I figured I would return it. After using it for only a few days I have changed my mind completly and there is NO WAY I will part w/this baby and in fact I am thinking of getting another one for my other tub!!! You can go to http:// www.luxury-spa.biz to find the information!

I also chose a Hanvey BB. I've tried several different kinds of systems, but I really prefer the BB, and used it for my mobile.

I have the Luxury Spa and I love. You'll save a few hundred dollar if you can get in on one of their sales. I had a Bathing Beauty that I bought used from a lady 3 years ago. So I was able to conpare the units, The Luxury Spa is very similar to the Bathing Beauty, It's very powerful,Love it!

You won't go wrong with that system, I got one on ebay for 299.00, Oh my god it's great! and worth way more money then that. When I look on ebay there's usually one there. So I would check if I were you. Also at the web site it was on sale for 325.00. It was suppose to end on the 31 of May, But someone on another site, said she bought one even though, it said through May 31st. When she checked out it still charged the sale price. So that was lucky. Anyway the web site is www.luxury-spa.biz
              Good luck! Doris

SO many of them are similar so more than the system you are buying the CUSTOMER SERVICE. See who everyone likes best for that.

                I like Hanvey.

Ohh I want to post about a bad customer service issue with a bathing system. But I won't!

Is anyone using the hydrosurge recirculating systems?
I think that will be my next choice when/if I lose another one of my current ones.
Seems no one mentions those any longer. Anyone purchase one lately?

                    I liked the HydroSurge

when I worked at the first place.
When I wanted to buy one much later, then they decided to only rent them to customers who bought enough of their brand of shampoo.
OK Well I'll get something else.

Now I see they are selling them again. (PetEdge)

If the pump one I have now ever goes, I may try theirs.

I think only the no recirc. from hydrosurge was the "buy the shampoo deal"

I didn't realize petedge had them, going to look now!

                        Yes, customer is important.

That right, customer service is important, very important. The luxury Spa people, their great. When I got my bathing system I opened the box, now this was at my home on a Saturday afternoon. So I get everything out and I'm all excited to get to try it out on Monday. Well, I leave it there on the floor and go into the kitchen to fix dinner. I walked back in the living room and oh my god! Our 8 month old Boston Terrier is making the tube that goes to the foot switch his dinner, I felt sick. My husband said he thought he might be able to find the tubing. When he got some time to do it. So I went ahead and emailed the Luxury Spa people told them what happened and the lady felt so bad for me, knowing I had just opened the box. She said she would get a replacement right out to me at no cost. So I call that great customer service. They are a new company and that's the way to make a good name for their selfs.
                        Very satisfied customer,
                        Doris
