Where can I find the taxivacs. I have a very slow computer and really don't have that much time to look for it. Can somebody give me the site they sell them at? Also what do mobile groomers prefer, taxivacs or clipper?

question!
Question about taxivac. I have one, but for some reason it keeps getting clogged up with hair. Obviously it could be coz I am shaving down a dog with 3 inch long hair. But dang do I need to turn the suction up higher? I have it about half way. Also, if the hose wasn't so long wouldn't it suck better? Have you guys leave the hose that length or is their a shorter one. My vac is pretty close to my table so really I dont need it 6 ft long, or however long it is.
Since you guys have owned one for a while, can you tell me your cleaning techniques? like, do you clean the filter once a week? and so on.. Thanks!

Thank you for the site Poodlebridge. Only one thing or maybe I missed since it has been a long day for me but can you use this on any clippers or do you have to buy their clippers? I like mine so I don't want to have to buy different ones just to use the taxivac.

Pawshpooch:
I have a clipper vac but I vacuum out the filter EVERY day. I have a thing about "dog hair stink," and I'm worried if I leave it full it will start to smell.
I think that if it gets full quickly it's because of the dog having a lot of hair. A cocker or standard poodle will sometimes cause me to have to empty my Clipper Vac Tote twice. Not always, most of the time I can groom several dogs before I have to empty it.
Hope this helps.

For the clipper brand, you will have to check with them. It does fit on the popular clippers (Oster/Laube/Andis/Wahl)
Just tell them the actual clipper brand, I know it doesn't fit ALL clippers because you need a special attachment to connect it.
Give them a call, they are very nice. I spoke to them last week in regards to a very old taxivac and were really helpfull.
