LuvPups, I guess I must be in the minority, I do get the higher price for the bigger dogs...Labs and such, when I choose to do them. I usually send them to other mobile groomers that do the big dogs. On ocassion, If they belong to a family that has a second (or other) dogs that are more in my size range, I'll do a big dog...if I have help lifting them into the tub, and if they fit in the tub, LOL, but it's going to cost for time...big fuzzy, nope...and sometimes I send the whole family to another groomer. But getting off the topic that you were discussing...yep, just stick to your guns about price for the big guys...bigger dog, more mess, more time...
One thing I noticed about the survey was that a majority of mobile groomers that have web sites, do list the prices on the sites. I didn't for a long time, but when I re-did my site, I did post a price page so to speak, giving price ranges for different breeds...seems to be one of the good ideas generated from the survey, and it has proved to be a positive for me...
I found that my area was a little higher then I had suspected, and that is a good thing...
