Well, I am taking a week off to nurse my back. I have a really bad pinched nerve and one part of my spine is curve to the left, the other to the right. I am a physical disaster!!!

I got a select comfort bed last month and I can't tell you how much of a difference it has made to how my back feels in the morning. I used to get out of bed already feeling like I had been hit by a truck. Now I don't feel that way until mid day, LOL. Surprisingly, it is the very soft setting on the bed that is the best for me. I thought it would be the opposite. Go figure.

Hope you get plenty of rest and let that back heal up so you'll be able to get back to work.
After grooming today my back hurt so back I couldn't stand up straight. I felt like I was walking around like an old lady, hey come to think of it I am an old lady!!!! lol
Fur, I've thought about getting one of those beds. Maybe I'll look into it now, I would love to get up in the morning and not hurt, for at least part of the day!"There is no psychiatrist in the world like a puppy licking your face."

I have chronic back problems as well
I have always had back issues since a car crash in 5th grade. THEN, I was in another car crash, and also didn't something stupid once while roller blading, and of course in Korea we always sat on the floor, no back rests etc. and I sat at the computer (on the floor) a LOT. That ruined me right there.
Add grooming onto all of that and you guessed it. My back NEVER feels good. It always feels tired, not really "aching" all the time, just tired. Neck and back are a mess, what a bad way to be!

I got one a couple of months ago and I think it has been the best thing I have ever done for my back, and I have never slep so good. I have never been one to want to be in bed, but now I have such a hard time getting out of bed, because I really love my bed. I have mine at 35.

Hello, I'm new here and just learning. Sorry to hear that you injured yourself. I was wondering what you guys think about wearing a back brace every day for extra support to help to avoid injury? Would that work, or would it be inconvenient? I think I might use one to help avoid injury if it works. Hope that you recover soon!
