  • john paul pet by paul mitchell

does anyone use the john paul pet products by paul mitchell? if so, what do you think? saw them at the pasadena pet expo, got some samples and am going to try them out on my pups, but was wondering what others thought.
also, if anyone uses them what kind of marketing do you use?

    thanks all!

we have the products for retail in our shop (I have no say on what is sold) and I don't like them. The leave on conditioner doesn't feel like it does anything to me. The product of theirs that I do like, are the face wipes. They work very well on pugs and dogs with wrinkley faces.

I haven't tried it personally, but from reading other's opinions on here who have most seem to either think it is only "ok" or don't like it at all.

        I Had a Client

that would hand me her bottle of Tea Tree Oil Shampoo from Paul Mitchel whenever her dogs appt came up. That worked okay, but no better than my Wild Thang by Laube. I just love that stuff!

I've tried it and considered bringing it in to sell, but I was extremely unimpressed.

I was given a sample pack by my friend who has a hair salon, and is considering selling the pet line. It was an oatmeal type I think. I used it on Cindee ,and it worked very well for her,she was a good test subject,as she gets itchy easy, and her coat doesn't shine,or straighten,if the shampoo is crappity. There are others I like better though

My daughter is a hair stylist and she bought me the set for Christmas and I have been using them and do like them.

Nothing special, it cleaned ok, but did nothing for the coats of the dogs I have used it on.

Money will buy you a pretty good dog but it won't buy the wag of it's tail.

Yes, that is what I thought too. It was only very l;ightly scented which I do like though for an itchy dog like Cindee. If I tried the other shampoo varieties and face wipes they make, maybe it would come down to cost for, most people. An average product that does an okay job shouldn't be $$$$ like Eqyss Microtek.
