Monkey Face

I had a woman call and she was telling me that she didn't like how her last groomer cut her shihtzu's hair. She went on to say she wanted him to have a shorter head like a monkey face. I kind of laughed and said " A monkey face?" I just thought it was cute and was assuming she meant a teddy bear face. I even asked " Oh like a teddy bear face?" and she said yeah. Is there such thing as a monkey face?

The monkey from the tv show Freinds had a little monkey I forget the name but that is sort of the monkey face looking monkey. Monkey Baby

I used to groom a shihtzu at my last shop, I called monkey baby. I used to use a real short blade under the eyes (#30 or #40), then use a #3 on the rest of the head including the ears. Go real short on the beard and round the head. Voila! Monkey or gorilla baby!

What I call a monkey face is when I shave the dome of the head, cheeks and ears. I leave a short visor and scissor the beard either sharp and pointy or round it up depending on what looks best on the dog. On some dogs (usually Shih-tzu's) it really does look monkeyish. I am attaching a picture of Princess. She doesn't have the "monkey face" groom that I am talking about, I just think she looks like a monkey....lol

I usually go shorter on the beard and muzzle leaving enough on the cheeks to cause it to stick out to give a rounder look.That dog looks good in that cut.
You dont need to smoke just stay awake,lack of sleep will work just as good as a fatty.Now how many people will dime themselves out by knowing what a fatty is lol. Maybe they dont call it that any more and I am just showing my age rolf. Not my thing any way,Ill stick with my "T"water.

its spelled capuchin monkey...and yes ive heard that they ARE nasty lil buggers...once they mature they arent potty trained anymore...they revert back...and ive watched shows where people owned them...and there was one couple on the show that had one...the monkey would get out of its cage, go after the wife, and basically destroy the house..throwing things and stuff! imagine like the monkey in monkey shines...kinda scary! LOL!
my fiance and i are thinking of getting a kinkajou...i like how the coatimundi looks but they destroy your house also if your not supervising them LOL!
