  • 2 Crazy Questions

If you spray both Davis Quick Dry and Ice on Ice (or any substitute product) on a wet dog before drying, do they cancel each other out?..........AND does the HV, at high speed, blow these products off the hair without gaining the full benefits from them?

I've always used just the Quick Dry when drying, then just before I release the dog, I spray Ice on Ice and do a 15 second drying as a finishing touch.

    Happy multi tasking sprays !!

Hmm. Y'know, those may be crazy, but they're GOOD questions. Never even occurred to me, but now that you bring it up....

Be interesting to see the responses.

Well, I usually spray my Quicker Slicker on, demat, then spray the Quick Dry on and rub it in a little. Then dry with the HV. You use Ice on Ice as a finishing spray? I did not like the product for dematting at all.

I used to use Quick Dry, but have found that Ice on Ice or Results Rinse speeds up the drying time just as much as the Quick Dry does, plus those products actually benefit the finish, where the Quick Dry just seemed to help the drying time. Little money saving tip.

Is Quick Dry a waterless shampoo? And, what is Ice on Ice? I only use the Bio-Clean waterless shampoo once in a while IF I "need" to... Have any of you ever used the Glo-Coat for dematting and/or shine? It's awesome!

Quick Dry, Speed Dry and Results Rinse are different products to speed up drying. They are not waterless shampoos. (There is a no-rinse shampoo called Quick Clean put out by Ring 5, I think.)

You can spray these on or I have also read of mobilers saying they have mixed certain ones with the shampoo so they are doing 2 things during the bathing process.

Ice on Ice is a Chris Christenson product. (I have some but haven't used it, so can't tell you much about it.)
