has/does anyone use truck campers for mobile grooming? I'm thinking about it but my main concern is would it be able to handle all the grooming equipment? any suggestions

Yes, starshan has and there is actually a company in Canada that builds them called Bark n Park. Last I heard he was downsizing a bit. I was inside one and it was a lot roomier than my van the way it was set up and he told me he was adding electric stairs to go off the back. But I'd PM Starshan as I know that's how she started and I'm sure she could give you some great advice.

Yup. I've got a Toyota Camper. It can handle the equipment & I love it. Plus, it wasn't that hard for my husband to convert.

I did one, it got me off the ground. If you are close I would sell it to you cheap, $500. Still has the full size tub & table, folds up when bathing & down when grooming. I grew to love it. If I didn't bring my daughter with me I probably would have had plenty of space but since I brought her with she had the whole over head part to play. I used where the fridge/cooler came out for my inverter & batteries, only had room for 4 batteries though so that didn't run much but my dryer, I had to plug in everything else. I didn't have a place to put a Gen. The 4 gal hot water tank went where the heater use to be. I only had 20gal which did 4 med to small dogs depending on coat. There was a little more room to put in a bigger tank. My main issue was gray water, I had to dump into 7gal jugs, bring them home to dump. We probably could have rigged something up but I knew I wouldn't be keeping this camper as it was so heavy so we didn't do a lot of upgrading.

Now there is someone on here but I'm sorry I can't for the life of me remember her name. She built a truck camper from scratch, looks awesome. Even a ramp for the dogs to walk up.

Like I told someone else in a private email asking about the camper, I would prefer someone that wants it to come & look it over. I'd hate to ship it & have you disappointed in what you bought. Its a 73' Bell camper. Has one spot on the back corner that needs trim work, the trim has separated which is causing a tiny bit of water damage. Other then that its in good shape. Buyer pay & arranging shipping. For more info you can private message me.
