Snow AGAIN!!!

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!! This winter has been quite ******! I'm finally, getting my schedule back in order from the last 2 snows and now we get a noreaster....of course, what else. Last bit of weather I caught was 4-8 inches....got 2 in this morning before the sleet turned to snow....bah!

When I got home today the roads were getting icy. Within an hour there were 2 accidents on my street.

Can I chime in and be mean??? Neener neener neener, we aren't getting anymore (right now anyway!)...We got about 30" a couple of weeks ago and had a bunch of warm days so now all we have are the leftover snowbanks...And people think Minnesota has harsh winters!

I feel for you AJ. I am so glad I took my trailer to the expo yesterday or I would not have been able to take it at all. I went today and sat from 4-7 and sadi the heck with it, locked my trailer up and went home. There was about 2 dozen people there. I hope tomorrow is better. The roads are HORRIBLE. I have 4 wd and was doing about 40 and had idiots in minivans passing me like I was stopped. No wonder there are so many accidents. people can't slow down.

I sure thought that we were done with it. It was almost 60 earlier this week, and today it's 30, and snowing, and freezing rain. It's a solid sheet of ice out there...and I have to be at work by 7 tomorrow for kennels...blech

I guess this was the reason I wasn't supposed to start my business next week. All I can say is that there's some "out there" reason that has made me waste 4 months with the small business development center in trying to get a business plan to the banks.

Anyhoo, I woke up this morning to sleet and when I left work at 7pm (NOT happy about that) there was about 2 inches of sleet to go home to on winding and slopey roads with jackarses tailgating me. I went out at 10 to let the dogs out and there's another 2 inches of snow on top of it all!
I wouldn't have to go in due to probable cancellations, but I've got kennel dogs to do tomorrow that are going home Sunday. Bleck! I'm trying to convince myself that the money is good for saving up for the van...saving for the van....saving for the van....ommmmmmmmmmmm......

3 inches of pure rock hard freekin ice. Hope the dog can make it back to the door on his own or he is up the creak with out a paddle. It's was a over booked sat guess this fixed that problem.It does look pretty with all the ice shimering in from the lights off the street lamps and house lights. Not sure how to get this much ice off the vehicle with out hurting or breaking something. I know the customers will not have one spec of this ice cleared or have the dogs walked.
This is one f the times when you tell yourself it must be after 12 pm someplace wheres the rum.

I can't imagine snow and sleet etc.

Don't hate us Arizona whimps. It is sooo beautiful here. 80s and Easter Feeling. The blossoms have blossomed and the orange blossoms are fragrant everywhere. I deliberately drive past the orange grove to smell them! My eyes itch and n=my nose is running, the allergy meds hardly work. I was in the second row...my spot, and I could not stay awake today @ Church. I hope he looks past me, and doesn't see me glazing over week after week.Yall'need to hop on a plane and come to Az for a day off! To me, it is like you guys live on another planet.I grew up to HS In NJ and Chicago subs. I remember walking 2 blocks to HS and getting numb legs. Snow on my sisters' birthday Mar26. But I have been in Cal and now Az so long...In bay area we did get snow a few times. I have a pic to this day of a snowman on the lawn in Mountain View, Cal. SF bay area. 55 is cold to me there. Whimpy, Whimpy, Whimpy me. I could never drive my big van in snow....I don't even drive it when raining!!!!~It Is the Spring cleaning of OAY dogs now. I can't do too many strips...dulls blades too fast.The only creativity is to save a cute face.

Yea the dog made it back.Spent the first three hours of that day chipping off ice from everything.Even tried to use a rubber hammer, it was the only way to smash off the ice from the hood of the van to check the oil.The roof was a real treat standing on top of a ladder which was on top of the ice.Used a four prong garden gizmo to clear one tire path prying up the ice.Had intermentant breaks and walked over to the retention pond to watch my son snow board down the ice.He is only 10 it must be nice to still bounce with out hurting every bone.The ice was pretty well melted by the late afternoon turned to slush and refroze sunday.This week should be warmer.Got all my appts done but one ,it just turned into a late day getting started 3 hours late.
Have I mentioned I dont like winter lol.

Alaska.......BUUUURRRRRRR.....I'm in Florida, and we had snow yesterday. It was whitish and in the form of Husky hair, but it was still falling from the sky (or ceiling) in our case.lol I always feel so sorry for these guys being here in Fl. They need to go to Alaska where they can be real Huskies!

i do NOT want to hear snow mentioned ever again! we have nice weather here in IL this week...mmmm 70 degree days! yummy nice warm weather is here! HOPEFULLY TO STAY! okay ill take a 55 to 60ish degree day...maybe a lower temp than that...but NO FRIGGIN SNOW! RAIN! ill do rain! rain is perfectly fine! no snow no snow no snow no ice either! ive had enough of ice and snow and snow flurries...

It was 80+ today. I came home at lunch to change into a tank top and shorts and flippies...he he. Don't worry, I'll be the one complaining when it is 120 degrees out and the a/c feels like nothing...I get nice warm water without using the hot water heater, yikes.
