    what kind of table?
As for water I preffer to keep it tightly contained so it can be heated more effectively should the need arise with cold weather. Actually all the mechanicals are in one area seperated from the flying hair and moisture. Our table is movable and is used in the middle of the work space but for small dogs or multible dog stops we leave it against the wall.Dogs in the tub dogs on the table dogs on my cabinets dogs on the floor dogs every where.lol I do not use a ramp I just lift them in the tub.If I cant lift it they cant afford it any way. Think about the cleaning and cleaner looking ,it really helps your sanity on those hard days. Clutter also messes with your acoustics.

Cheap tables are cheap for a reason each company makes a number of tables in different price's not just because of design differences but also because of meterials. If your doing a lot of big dogs you'll need a good sturdy table that will last a long time.maybe even an electric type, just look or ask if it has rollers or bearings in the pivot points not just a rod through a hole. If bearings, are they sealed or expossed to the hair and dampness? Lot of funny stuff out there. It's not so funny when they fall and land on your foot.Or leave you grooming on your knees while you wait for parts,or working with a 2x4 stuck into the works to hold up the table while you wait for parts. You prior question of branding ,perhaps you should look at the old B Board. Im hooked on the tables that spin,if it wont spin I wont be using it. I dont care if it does'nt go to the foor. I can spin dry lol. Just kidding.I do how ever turn a dog about 8 times some times 10 during a groom.i dont want to walk around the table or stuggle with turning it on a staionary table.Every one works different, you not knowing how to groom or having built any habbits of how you like to groom leaves a lot of it to chance that you will not change your mind later in the methods of how you groom as you learn and how you groom after you have done it for a while.

my layout is such that the table and tub are close to each other. i can walk the dog from the table directly into the tub. as i do a large number of big dogs, this is a back saver. all my supplies and tool are in arm's reach. my hubby screwed two pullout drawers in the underside of the table to put my most commonly used tools in them. you do need to fasten some sort of closure to keep the drawers from opening while driving. there is an enclosed shelf above my table where shampoos, ear cleaners, all sorts of sprays and the such are kept.

I suggested this to someone building locally. Get yourself a roll of chart paper it comes in widths of 48 inches approx 1.24 meters by number of feet.

Make a tem plate of your van floor and each item you want. table, cabinet tub, a place for the web camera so we can watch here in the states. Do this to scale. Now move things around till you find a confortable situation.

            just a thought

In my new van, my table and my bathtub are next to eachother along one wall. I thought I would hate this set up, but it sure does help my back. My table lowers to about 6 inches from the floor. The big ones jump up on the table, I lift the table back up and hop them into the tub. When I am done bathing, I blow most of the water off in the tub and hop them back onto the table to finish. It is very convenient and less stress on the dog as well.
