  • helpful hubby NOT! long

I went out on a call this morning was in the process odf rinsing conditioner off a full coated cocker and the fresh water sprayer started sputtering.I thought dang my water pump just went out and how the heck am I going to get the rest of the conditoner off of her.I thought surley I can't be out of water this was my first call of the day I check the fresh water gauge guess what it was on empty my hubby offered to dump my gray and refill my fresh water tanks yesterday well he got side tracked and forgot to fill up my fresh water tank.I rocked the van back and forth and was able to splash enough water around in to the tank to rinse the rest of it off(the driveway was on an angle) I bet I he takes me out to dinner tonight he really does feel badly about it

Don't be too hard on him- my boyfriend helps me with my website and that's about it. He's a good guy but not at all a handyman. At least your hubby was willing to do the thing he forgot in the first place.

          Wow....

I wish I had a husband to empty/fill either of my tanks No really, my boyfriend (this most recent one anyway) has been great - he fixed my electric jack for the trailer and has offered to put in a stereo. What a sweetie.

You sure must have been surprised. Sounds like he's otherwise pretty dependable - better keep him!

I have heard several of you mobilers (I am a shopper...lol) who have had this happen. Can you ask a client if you can use their hose to partially fill your tank and give them a couple of dollars off or something? I have noooooo idea what all it entails to set your tanks up, so maybe this is not even possible. I know it is not terribly professional, but most people understand that oopsies happen.

Wow, I wish my hubby would offer to help. He just keeps telling people he is the brains behind the operation. Uh hello. You don't do ANYTHING! I wonder if I can get him to help clean it real good for the expo. HAH yeah right.

hey my husband is'nt that nice about helping with the van but my son is very helpful he is 18 yrs old and he fills the van and emptys the gray water tank every night he also washes the towels for me every night i guess i'm just lucky he is my only child, also ask clients for water most understand i've had my van for 3 yrs and i have a lot of clients that even offer water to fill my tank before i leave and they also have told me that if i'm ever in the area and need water to just pass by their house and fill up that makes me fill good because i know i'm doing something right.

Whenever my daughter or hubby help with clean up and setup, much as I appreciate the help and all, and thank them profusely ... I always check everything before I call it a night or leave in the morning. I check the panel and make sure everything is full that should be full and empty that needs to be empty, that my towles are in the truck and the towel basket is in the back. Face it, YOUR the one who has to deal with the problems if you don't!!
