I have a Kmart special for $19.99. I use it quite often becuase it saves my back. I bungee it to the table when I am done.
If your dog is fat, you are not getting enough exercise!

I have a walmart special, 29.99 that is actually a sturdy, tall folding chair that I never fold and just leave it out and move it around out of my way when I am bathing dogs. Sure, it gets in my way and I curse at it at times, but I am old and it saves my back....I need a nice back on my seat.

Mine is a hydraulic draftsman's chair with a springy back from an office supply company. It has a foot ring, swivels, adjusts from normal grooming table height to way, way high (34 or 35") and is cushy soft. Cost around 99 bucks on sale.

I plan on getting one. I saw a little fold away one in a magazine that would be perfect for my van.

            Rodeo stool/chair

Yep, I sure do! I know of severlal mobile groomers locally that do. I seldom have hair on the floor, so no need to worry about hair clogs in the wheels. The nice thig about the Rodeo stools is that they tip your pelvis and back to a correct angle . I've been sitting to groom for a log time, and I love my rodeo chair. Of course I slao have a 27" Lazy Susan table top, but that's another topic.

              Mounting block

I use a two step plastic mounting block like you'd use to get on a horse. The inside works as a waste basket, you can stand on it to bath both sides of a large dog easily, sit on it when you want to when grooming, or use it as a step stool for a large dog to get in the van that has trouble jumping in.

He he...this is gross, but I am very tired and goofy at the moment: when I first saw the title of this post "Grooming Stools..." I immediately pictured poo on the grooming table...ah jeez...I think I will be sorry for sharing in the morning when this reply has posted...he he.

I have a rodeo stool in my van. It really helps to get off my feet at times.

                            Mounting Block

You can find mounting blocks at some tack shops or if you do a search on Yahoo Stateline Tack comes up. They carry them. They aren't very expensive, strong, and can take a lot of abuse.

                              chair /stool

I use a fold up step stool it fits behind the drivers seat and seconds as step ramp for the dogs to go in the tub if I dont feel like lifting them up.Sometimes it gets used as a tool bench, saw horse, air core coil baking station, wire caddy, drink holder.Have'nt tried using it to snow board yet, still waiting for a deeper snow.
