  • Dry cracked pads

Does anyone use anything for dry or cracked pads? I thought I saw something for it once but i did not need it then. i have a customer asking.
What does a dog do on it's day off?

bag balm works good. Espree also makes stuff for cry cracked pads. I have not used it yet, but I got it as a free sample some how. I do love the bag balm.
If your dog is fat, you are not getting enough exercise!

Bag Balm or Invisible Boot. You could also use Vaseline in a pinch, but it's kind of messy.

              There are afew products....

I've had something called Pad Protector, can't remember who makes it, though. There's also Musher's Secret, which has been around forever, and Tuf-Foot. I try to stay away from anything greasy that can cause a dog to slip, or get on their people's upholstery/carpeting. Products like the above generally not only condition, but help provide grip- extra nice this time of year in icy conditions.... well, not where I am, but other places.lol If you have to order online, you need to look at companies that cater to gun dogs and working dogs- like Gundogsupply.com or LCsupply.com. They always have the good stuff. ;-)

I like Skin Works for my hands and for pads and elbows. I have a product (sample sized) from Groomers Choice or Davis that I also like. Sorry I can't remember which company, I will try to remember to look when I am at work today! I wonder if Udder Relief would help.

Bag Balm works great, but my dogs all love the stuff so they lick it off as fast as I put it on!

eqyss makes a product called Mega-Tek Rebuilder that's suppose to strengthen paws. I haven't used it yet, but I did buy it at a show.

Im sure it would be good for doggie feet!! and cheaper too I bet!
