    Wow, that's scary. I hear people talk about "groomers lung." Glad you are doing better Jodi. Whether it makes a major difference or not I use a special air purifier for years that kills all bacteria, molds etc.

      Very scary! Have you been tested for CF? Both my sister and my dil.. not groomers.. have bronchiectstatis.. and one of my grandson's has mild Cystic Fibrosis. Anyway.. glad you feel better!

                Thanks, I think I should start wearing a mask when drying dogs from now on.....

                          I recently met a groomer that was out of work for a month and still suffering from this. I referred to this blog post.

                            My doctor recommended that I use a clean saline spray several times a day to wet and clean the lining of my nostrils. No it doesn't clear everything you breathe in but he said the saline solution can help clean what is hanging by nose hairs, and stop nose itchiness. It works great, I used clog up stuffy sometimes and that is gone now. Some baddies don't like a saline environment either.
