I always make detailed notes when I groom the dog for the first time - if it is good for nails, ear cleaning, bath, drying, etc. That way if something changes I can alert the owner. It is also a good idea to check for lumps and bumps while drying, too, since sometimes we groomers find something in places owners don't usually check, and it can be addressed in a timely manner.
