  • Help! Asap!!

    Just had my blades sharpened, have dogs today and the blades won't go through a clean coat!!!!! Hair is sticking/getting caught in the
    blades. Tried my clipper ease and it helped on a couple of them, but what now?!

    Are they tightened enough? Maybe take them apart and clean and oil them thoroughly then try again. That seems to have been happening with my Oster 4F, but they're kind of dull anyways and need to be sent in.

      Have you checked your blade drive and/or your hinge. It could be that

        Wash 'em really good in blade wash. Then oil them as usual.

        Blades often come back coated in oil and the oil has to be removed before using or it gums things up.

          sounds to me like maybe the sharpener didn't set the tension right on the blades. If the tension is too loose or too tight they can catch hair, or not clip.
