  • Non-swivel shark fin shear

I love the design of these non swivel sharkfin shears, don't think I could get the hang of the swivel ones. Does anyone have the non-swivel shear that can share some information about how they like them or not????

    Swivel Shark Fins

I Would like to know about the swivel Shark fins. Has anyone used them or any other "swivel" type shears?

I bought a pair. After 6 months of runaround the company finally sent me the wrong shear. They spent 8 months sitting in my tool collection before I sold them to someone else. I wouldn't waste my money again.
There are 3 different kinds of people in this world: Dog people, cat people, and rational people who don't have a problem liking two things at the same time.

        Non-swivel shark fin shear

I have a swivel shark fin straight shear. I like it and use it often. It helps getting to hard to reach places. And for me my on my right hand has a nerve problem and these shears help with that also. I ordered mine at Intergroom last year and it took a long time for them to come in since they were back ordered but the company sent me an upgraded pair for waiting so long. I really had no trouble using them, I practiced a little just cutting air and just did what I normally do and the shears worked great. A free thinning shear was included that is not a swivel and I like it also.

I have the ofset 6" curved shear. They are one of my favorites. I think mostly because they are offset and I have really strong hands and short s, so they fit properly. They hold an edge pretty well, but I use them for finishing. I have old geibs and kenshii's for the work horse shears, and Talyns, shark fins and C Christiansens for finishing.
