anyone out there know of anyone or anyplace that would accept used grooming equipment? specifically, I have 3 pairs of clippers that are old, 1 doesnt work at all. I havent thrown them out because I keep thinking someone might be able to repair or re use the parts. I hate to ad to the landfill. I am not interested in keeping them myself though. I also have some shears that are chipped or have been sharpened so much they are mostly useless now. I bought all my original equipment from a family member that was no longer grooming, and was given a lot of stuff from previous employers. anyhow, let me know.

    Sharpeners?

You could try offloading them onto a repair person who might be able to salvage parts? Or maybe other groomers in the area?

That is how I got my backup 2speed clipper. I bought it off my Sharpener. He gets them from groomers and repairs and cleans them. Then he sells them 2nd hand. It works great and saved me $60!
