pre-made feathers

So I bought these pre-made feathers from Ren's a n d they have elastics attached to them. I know how to do a regular feather and crimping bead attachment but how do I attach these? Sorry for sounding so dumb about a simple little thing. They are Hallowe'en feathers so I want to get going on using them. Any help would be appreciated.

Would doing the same as a bow with elastic do it? Around a bun of hair.

The elastic is too big. It would have to be wrapped over and over etc. If that's the only way then I will make my own instead of pre-made.

I take things like that , cut off the band and hot glue to a barrette. Safer and easier for me

There is a really nice Hallowe'en bead on each of them. The feather, then bead, then elastic. I'm thinking I will just use a bead a normal and push the elastic in and crimp as usual. Maybe that's the way they are supposed to work lol.
