H-42 question. Can i use it with the blade on the clipper?

I use my km2 that way, but that's the only clipper I know of for sure that you can but I know it's not the only one. There are some sites recommended on one of the sticky posts, and the groomer on the site did it. Works like a charm, and doesn't bugger up the clippers at all either

I have read alot about H-42 cleaner for blades. I have Andis super 2 speed clippers and some wahl clippers. Can I clean the blade while they are still on these clippers? I thought I saw somewhere a while ago that someone thought blade cleaner ruined their Andis clippers. Just wondering if anyone has these clippers and you clean your blades that way with the H-42. Also, if i was to get a Wahl Arco cordless clipper , can you use that with the cleaner also?
