Keeping Hair Dye Away From The Dogs Eyes?

I have a Shih tzu coming in tomorrow to get dyed completely pink for a photo shoot, the only thing is i have never dyed i complete dog like that, im a little nervous. Ive only done patches or spots (like ears, tail, feet...) im not scared about the body, only the face... how do i keep out of the eyes and mouth? is there away other than just tying back the hair?

For my own curiosity, did you figure it out? How did it turn out? I never thought that type of hair dyed well.

conditioner keeps the dye from setting so you can use that on any area you want to keep clean.

I'm curious also...how'd it come out?
