  • Best electric table under $1,000?

Electric? Hydraulic electric? Pros and cons? Best brands?

Hmmmmm, I am curious as to what everyone is going to say. My experience is first a hydraulic 14 years ago. I hated the cabinet under it( I bashed my knees into it), I hated how it jumps up then falls down from under dog. I got two electric tables from petedge in 2008, both master equipment brand. Paid$800 plus shipping usd per table. I've never had an issue with either, one is my finishing table the other is my back drying big dog table. Friend of mine got the groomers best table and it isn't as stable as mine.
Now I'm looking at bringing in a line of tables to sell and there are so many options! I think each person's needs are different.
For example: I'm totally in love with the. LED backlight electric table, or small dog people would like one with built in lazy Susan and electrical outlets, or even a much smaller diameter table like a round hydraulic one.. but places that do monster dogs want stability and a table that lowers to 10".
Sometimes color is important to some, others it's not.
My personal preference is electric... But I've never had issue.. Yet..
    Small hydraulic table

Ok, I have a comfort groom 42 inch electric. Drops down to 11 inches. I do aggressives , and trust issues and big dogs. A shih tzu can jump on it from ground. By the time we are done with session they will let me pick them up off table to place on the floor .Love it. Sturdy can remove top to clean and it is a little cushiony for the dogs. That I ordered off Amazon paid just under 800. The accordian cover is worth looking into. Only problem is potential hair getting trapped under table. The 1 thing i dont like about it is location of foot pedal. Although tjey do flip up out of the way. Now were I to have the money would look into a shoreline with color base. They are beautiful colors not sure if I like the tops though.

I got the petedge brand three years ago in purple (LOL) and it's still working like brand new and looks nearly new. A few tiny dings in the paint. https://www.petedge.com/zpetedgemain...c-locale=en_US

We just bought hubs a similar one from Groomers choice. No telling how it will hold up as it's only been in service a month or so. I prefer this lift to the Z lift. http://www.groomerschoice.com/Dura-D...uctinfo/GT700/

Both go down low enough for bigs and littles to get on. I have a few little dogs that HATE to be picked up.

We love our Shoreline tables in our shop. Our vans have Ultralift 3 N 1 tables with slide out ramp. Built like a tank.

I have been looking into that exact table. It's time for me to get a table that I don't have to adjust by hand. I too was sucked in by the colors of shoreline (lime green!!) but can't afford to pay almost double the price just for color. However, you think that more table/equipment manufacturers would figure out that groomers are sick of black, white, and gray. Color sells people!

I use the table that Itza linked with the lighted top. I do not utilize the lit top at all because it's so slick that the dogs slide around on it. We have all of ours covered with mats. It's a cool feature but doesn't work for us.

There's an optional clear silicone mat that goes on top. Doesn't impede the light.
I have my first shipment of grooming tables arriving soon and I will get a chance to try one myself.

Me too. I had the opportunity for a used ultralift, omg like Mercedes precision. I do recommend Groomers Best for this budget based on experience. I know Shor Line are good too, but not sure if they meet the $1k limit.
