  • Routers and Dryers

Has anyone tried hooking up a variable speed router to a stand dryer or HV dryer so you could turn it down for heads or nervous dogs? Sort of the reverse of what you do with shop vacs being used for a clipper vac system?

Thought I'd ask before I get all adventurous and try it on my own.

I used a router on my dryer for awhile but you have to have one that will match the power of your dryer. the one I had wasn't strong enough and would cut out and stop the dryer. It worked for me. Good luck
