  • edemco wall mount dryer

I saw these at ATF last yr and wanted to grab on there this year. I just called a distributor and they said they have been discontinued. I am so bummed, if this is true does anyone know why??? I was so looking forward to these being a space saver in the groom room

I think they still make the table mounted ones. I was also looking at the wall mount, none around here either. Hopefully I'll run into a used one.

They were so heavy they were hard to mount safely. that being said. I took my table mounted one and secured it to the wall with U clamps firmly anchored into the wall. Worked great. LOVE that dryer.

I agree they would be a space saver.

For heavens sake, you'd think they'd come up with SOMETHING that didn't have to be on our table or floor (picking up hair in the wheels, ACK!) I'd love to have a wall-mounted stand dryer.

Aeolus makes a wall mounted dryer as well, but they are based in the UK and some distributors in AU. I think I saw them at a trade show here in the states last year, but can't swear to it.

I really think that the Edemco design did not lend itself well to being mounted safely. It slid up and down as well as pivoted, and I see major issues with it pulling out of the wall unless it was anchored securely into a stud with LON LONG screws, and from experience, if it falls (My tabletop has done that) it HURTS and can really injure someone.

              Wall mounted fluff dryer

This is a relatively old thread, but does anyone know of any wall mounted fluff dryer I could get. The only one I have found on the internet is the Aeolus one, and that is a UK product (?) and was listed as out of stock. I saw a Japanese grooming school on the internet, and they had these Aeolus dryers at every station. Seems to beat the pants of the stand dryers. I hate tripping over the stand dryers!!! Help!! Thanks!!
