  • Air mover at Lowe's

Anyone ever used it? I was there yesterday buying a filter for a shop vac and found this:

    http://www.shopvac.com/vacs/detail.a...ource=overview

The one at Lowes was $189 and blue.......it is more powerful than my Sahara according to specs and half the price. It is also a 3 speed.....

SO for anyone looking for an ambient air dryer....this sounds like a great one for that purpose!

I used one similar in my old show it worked great.I was pretty strict about anything with a heat element as for cage dryers.Because you never can copmpletly trust help. Another great one. IS the shop vacs that ahve the top that can be removed to turn into a leaf blower. This makes for one heck of a force dryer. I would buy an extra one just for that purpose.

Me too. And I have the Sahara as well. My Rigid is a 3 speed (no wheels), and definitely heavier than the Sahara...so I like the wheels on the Lowes one.
The Rigid is so powerful that I only use the highest speed if I am drying a Newfie or the like in hot weather, or want to dry my floor in 10 minutes.

The Rigid has seen 7 years of moderate use...and never a mechanical problem, fyi.

But WHERE do I blow it TO?????????????????????????

The entire property is soggy even after a night of no rain (TG!) and windy. The Flont River is over its banks into the retaining area (100 feet to either side of the river) and the River walk is under 5 feet or so of water. That is an area near the river done just for walks and nature trails. This happens all the time but it never makes it better.....thats what I get for living in a swamp.

I am gonna buy one of these blowers. Need another dryer anyway!
