  • Tighten Stand Dryer Arm

Anyone know how or have suggestions to tighten a stand dryer. Anal me, sprayed Wd 40 on it because it was squeaky, and now it’s too lose & doesn’t stay put.

Not sure, but someone might here. Keep an eye out.

Electrical contact cleaner will remove the WD40.
Ain't always easy to stand up for what is right.

Ok thanks, I knew there had to be something to remove it but didn’t know what it was. I’ll try that & see if it helps.

I use a wrench to tighten the bolt on the stand dryer.
Old groomers never die, they just go at a slower clip.

          Groom on!!!

The bolt is encased & you can’t get to it.

Did you ever find a way? Not the same thing but I sort did something like this with a bungee cord.

I was wondering that too. Funny but I keep bungee cords around for all sorts of things.

Not yet. Have to take a picture of it & take to hardware store. It’s some special kind of bolt or screw that j don’t have a tool for. Maybe they will know.
