I believe it was in the new pet edge catalog that I saw spray that adds sparkles on a dog. Has anyone tried this? I have a black lab that comes in every 3 wks who gets the works done - nails painted etc and I think the owner would LOVE it... just wanted to make sure it worked ok, didnt dry out the skin, etc

I got that stuff from pet edge in november to use for xmas then put it away till christmas and FORGOT TO USE IT! I did try it on a few dogs right when I got it (my own, my parents ect) My experience was the glitter didnt really fall off around the house but it also didnt show up very well. I didnt try it on a black lab though. Dang I have a gordon setter I shoulda tried it on!

I have happy tails sparkles
But haven't used it yet for that fear. I have a customer that gets nails polished etc. but shaved because she has an immaculant home. I know she would love the sparkles, but am so afraid she'd be really upset if the couch started twinkling.Money will buy you a pretty good dog but it won't buy the wag of it's tail.

sparkle spray.......
The last place I worked all the dogs went out with fairy dusted noses some of the clients loved it while others put up with it. funniest thing that happened was my special needs black chow bumped my hand while holding the sparkles and well they went all over her face so she was covered in them and owner and i had a good laugh about the over kill..... oh yea and the boss insisted on all the female dogs having nails painted too unless the owner said no but xmas time was the exception.
never used the sprays but looked at them at pet edge and didnt think they would be all that noticable on the dogs almost too fine.
